It’s was just a normal day!

It was just a normal day…

We were at school and we were doing math (data analysis to be specific). Then on the announcement it said, “Everyone, everyone! Lockdown! Lockdown! There is a zombie apocalypse!”

Everyone screamed in fright.  “Will we be ok?” I asked in shaking because I was so scared. My teacher assured me that we will be ok and that the scientists were finding an antidote.

We all scurried into the kiln room and called our parents. All are parent said that they will be ok and that we will to ok too. We all started to feel a little more safe now. Then I said, “hey are we just sitting here, we need to go fight the zombies!”.

We all got out of the kiln room and got stuff from our desks to protect us. We patrolled the school to make sure everyone else was ok. It had been one hour and we hadn’t  seen our teacher so we all went and looked for her. We found her in the computer lab making sure they still work

“You scared us,” we all said.

There was another announcement that we all have to hide and that the zombies had got into the school while we were talking to are teache. It had been 5 minutes and we heard banging on the door. We started to scream. The door slowly opened and it got very quiet. No one said a word. We saw a hand. But it was normal hand and then are principal slowly walked in but didn’t show her face.

“I thought you were a zombie,” I said with a sigh of relief. Then she turned around and we saw her face! It was green and look weird. Everyone ran out of the room and we locked her in the computer lab.

Our class looked out of the library and saw that everyone  was a zombie except are class. We were the only ones(That’s what we thought). We all got worried about are family.

””Quiet, the radio is on!” my teacher explained. “We are working on the antidote don’t worry, remain calm,” the radio announcer said with a bit of worrying in his voice.

A loud crash came from the other side of the room that was covered by shelves so we couldn’t see what happened.

“W-what was that? “my classmate said.

“I-I don’t know,”. Some silent went around.

“ARRRRHHHHHHH!” the zombie said.

“AHHHHHHHHHHHH!” we all said.

We ran away. I was the only one that ran into a back room that was in the library. I sat there and heard no voices that I recognised, only zombie noises. I peeked through the window and saw that I was the only one that was not a zombie. I sat there wondering if I was really the only one. Was I the only one who survived? Will I ever see my family or pets.

I heard laughing.

“Huh,” I said, confused. I looked out  the window of the door and saw my class laughing so hard. I unlocked the door.

“Hey w-was this a prank?”

“Yes!” my class said in unison.

“WHAT?” I said with anger in my voice. “B-but you scared me and how did you do that zombie look so well?”.

“Practice makes perfect, “my teacher said with a smile on her face. “Now let’s go and have a zombie party.”

We had an awesome party that was amazing. That was the best day ever.

I hope you guys loved my story about zombies. The pic you see we used a website called PicMonkey  Make sure to check it out. What is your zombie story leave it in the comments below or on your blog and your blog URL in the comment below. Good bye everyone and I hope you have a great day!

Heel touch masters!

img_6020

Hi everyone,

How many heel touch do you think people could do in 30 seconds?Well my class did a data analysis project and my group did how many heel touches you could do in 30 seconds.

Our inquiry question:

How many heel touches you could do in 30 seconds?

equipment:

We needed a timer and luckily someone in our group had a timer on there watch so it work perfectly.

Procedure:

The procedure was to touch your heel  well you stood up. It had to be alternating heel touches and you couldn’t bend over and touch your heel you had to be standing strait up.

Control standards:

You need to be standing when you were doing the heel touches. You needed to alternate each time you touched your heel.

Predictions:

I predicted that people would get between 40-90 heel touches in 30 seconds.

Our data:

This is the data we got for our experiment. The number that we got are 36,47,50,53,56,59,62,67,67,67,67,69,71,72,73,85.

analysis of data:

There where no outliers. So I did included them.  because their are non so we include them. The Mean is 62 and I know that because you add up all you’re numbers then divide it by how ever many number is in the data set. the equation is 1001÷16=62. The mode is 67. The mode is the number that ocures the most so look and see the number that is in the data set most. the median is 67 and I got that because I look to see what the middle number is. I look in the middle and saw that it was the middle. The range it 49 and I got that because I get the highest and I subtract the lowest number to the highest number. and that was 36−85. I think that the mean is the most important because its the average.

Conclusion:

I think that I did pretty good for my prediction. Because I predicated that my class mates would get between 40-90. The thing my class got was 36-85. I think that tells the people in our class are pretty good at heel touches.

Extension:

I think we could extend it maybe you could be able to bend over and then I think it would be easier to do and people would get more if you could bend over.

That was are project and I hope you have a GREAT day!

Emergency preparedness kit!

Electrical TsunamiCreative Commons License fdecomite via Compfight

Hi everyone,

Think, if a natural or non natural disaster happened in the middle of the night what would you do? We have been talking about disasters and we have to write a post about what we would put in an emergency kit for your bedside table. Things I would put in would be

A flashlight so if it’s dark and we have to go outside so we can see.

I would also bring a couple of band aid so if me or anyone else gets hurt I can help them.

Some granola bars (or food that won’t go bad) and some water if you have to stay outside or somewhere else for a long time.

A pocket knife so you can cut stuff (if you need to) or mark here you are so if you get lost (like if you’re in the forest or something like that).

Something that make you warm like a pocket warmer or something like that.

Maybe a radio(like the ones you crank so it last forever) so you can keep updated from what has happened.

What would you put in your emergency kit? Leave it in the comments(make sure to leave your blog URL I can visit your blog) and don’t forget to have an awesome day!

Home Free!

Home Free
Hi everyone,

This is a post about my favorite singers Home Free. There the best singers in the world! The bass Tim even broke a speaker because his voice is so low when he signings.  There a They’re an a capella group that sings some country as well as  other music.

They have five members: Tim, Austin, Adam, Rob and the new member, Adam. Chance is what they call him.  The group was formed by Chris ( who has now left the group to perform solo) and Adam, his brother.

If you have ever watched The Sing Off you might know who they are. They won The Sing Off, which is where an  a cappella group perform. They have done a lot of songs. Mostly covers but some original. Some of my favorites are Country Fried Pop, Zombies and Hillbillies (which they did with Voice Play) and Try Everything. There’s a lot more but we’ll leave it at that.

They were booked for Jimmy Fallon but their flight got cancelled so they went on a talk show. They even went on the radio! My family went to see them live and it was so awesome and funny. They are all so funny and I would love to go to another concert so I would get to see the new guy Chance.

Do you know any a capella groups? If so what’s your favorite?

Thank you for reading my first choice post and I Hope you have a great day!
