Hey everyone,

The school year is about to end and that means I will be moving to high school. I can not guaranty that I will be posting next year. But I will try my hardest to remember to post maybe once or twice a month. Blogging has taught me about how to write content that people enjoy. I have also learned how to do punctuation that has helped my writing over all. I loved making my blog mine by changing the theme and my quote. I will always remember this blog and the post I have written. Hello everyone have you ever wonder about  how you could die in space, well this is the post for you! Watch the video, then read my post about the scenario I choice. I hope you enjoy.

The rescue,

Hello journal, my friends think you’re a diary but I call you a journal. Anyway today Fred’s gotten worse, he has thrown up seven times (which just floated everywhere). We have got in touch with F.A.S.A and they have sent a rocket to come help us with Fred. They will be here in 21 minutes and 32 seconds oh now 30 seconds. I just took a nap, Fred sat in pain and Larry wondered the planet looking for alien life. The rescue rocket will be here in 11 minutes. We are all pacing anxiously waiting for it to come. Larry found a red smoke bomb that we can use to signal the rescue rocket.We are going to explorer the plant when Fred gets better. I can see them in the distance. I hope they will be here soon.  We see them, we see them there getting close. It kind of looks like there getting a little to close, like right over top of us. Oh oh no there going to land on top of us! NOO!

Where I Live!

Hello everyone,

Beautiful British Columbia, more like  beautiful Comox Valley. The Comox Valley is so pretty and if you like snow, rain, hail, thunder, wind and sun you would love it here. One day it will be sunny and beautiful the next it will be snowing, and I’m not kidding! I’m so lucky I live here.

Some of my favorite places to go are:

 

Chimo gymnastics is the perfect spot for a hard-working gymnast. You can sign up for a class or just go for a drop-in on Wednesdays. In Chimo you can learn all levels of gymnastics. When ever I go there I am so excited to start working on achieving my gymnastic goals. Every year they host a gymnastic meet where any competing gymnast can compete in. They call it the PJ meet were you wear your pajamas to the meet and wear your leotard under them. I’ve learned a lot from them and I hope if you go you will have the same experience.

Kin beach is one of my favorite places to go camping with my family. It’s so nice there and it’s right on the beach which is awesome. If it’s really hot when your camping you could go the where you check in and buy yourself a ice cream bar. They also have a park >>were anyone can go play and  a tennis court so if is you ever go there make sure to bring a tennis ball and racket. If you want to have a potluck or just a dinner with some people you can rent a under cover grilling area. Another thing I love about it is that you don’t have to go camping to go to  Kin beach if you want to go for a day there is a parking area and a bunch of picnic tables. If you ever go camping there, tell me about your adventures!

Bill Moore memorial park has several different things for different sports teams to do. But I am talking about the baseball field. Now baseball is a pretty big thing in my life even though I don’t play it. My Mom Dad and Brother do it though so I spend a lot of time there. Since my brother has played baseball for so long he’s gotten quite good so he’s on teams that travel all over the place. So if both my parents go most of the time I do to. This is one of the fields he plays at our are home field. I<<< also has  batting cage right beside it so when they are practicing they practice batting.

Harris Burdick: Under the Rug

The man, woke up frantic, he is running around trying to find something to protect himself with. Since he doesn’t know what “it” is, he thinks it’s creepy, so he latches on to the first thing he sees which is I a brown table chair. The small creature under the soft tan rug moves, which startled startles the old man because it hasn’t moved in 4 minutes and 39 seconds. The man, who has ran across across the room, murmurs quietly, hoping it was just a dream. The creature is crawled closer as the man  gets ready to strike. BANG!  The side table falls over knocking off the lamp. The creature is startled by the loud noise and jumps out from under the rug revealing it was just the man’s Tabby cat.

When the man went to put the cat back in his room he released  that wasn’t the only thing under the rug.

Hey guys

My favorite holiday is Christmas! The snow and the cold just makes me feel happy. Christmas movie are amazing! They make me feel so warm inside here are some of my favorite Christmas movies what are yours?

Elf is about a elf name Buddy who thinks he’s and elf because he was raised in the north pole by the elf’s and Santa. But is really a human. He goes the New York to try to find his dad and meets someone else on the way.

The Grinch is a person who hates Christmas. He try’s to ruin Christmas for everyone who live in Whoville. He came down from his mountain with his dog max to get everything related to Christmas and throw them away when he meets a girl named Cindy Lou Who.

Frosty the snowman is a cartoon movie about a snowman who come to life when he put’s a magic hat on. All the kids love him but some of the parents do not. The heat is coming and the kid try to figure out how to keep him from not melting.

Home Alone is a movie about a big family all going to Florida for Christmas But Kevin went on the wrong plane and ended up in New York. But the Wet Bandits escaped prison and  they are trying to get Kevin. Will Kevin make it home to his family?

Christmas with the Kranks is about a family who’s daughter  is away for Christmas so the parent are planing on going on a cruise. They want to forget about Christmas all the presents,light,cards everything. But something changes when they hear the there daughter is coming home for Christmas with her new boyfriend.

Home Alone is a about a big family is all getting ready to head on a trip to Paris. But Kevin the boy doesn’t  wake up in time so everyone left without him. Some robbers called the Wet Bandits  try to get into there house. Will Kevin outsmart them?

I ain’t afraid of no ghosts!

If there’s something strange in the neighborhood, who ya gonna call? Ghostbusters! 

There are four main characters in ghostbusters Answer the Call (I looked it up and that’s the name of the 2016 movie) , and one of them is a lady named Holtzmann. Holtzmann is a movie character in Ghostbusters (the girl version). Her full name is Jillian Holtzmann. But everyone calls her Holtzmann. Her name in real life is Kate McKinnon. She has blonde hair and she makes all the cool gadgets to capture the ghosts. She is the friend of a character named Abby but then got introduced to the other characters and is now friends with everyone.  She’s really crazy  and she shows a lot of different successful learner traits. Like… 

  Creativity

She is really creative because she makes all the cool gadgets to capture the ghosts. She has to come up with all the ideas and figure out how to build it. There is not a book or something telling her how to do it she comes up with everything. One of her gadgets is a contraption were she can keep ghosts in a machine.

 Industriousness

She is really industrious because it probably takes a lot of time to make everything and she doesn’t complain because she enjoys doing it. When she goes to capture all the ghosts she doesn’t fool around a lot. She likes to joke around but when it comes to business she gets it done. 

Risk Taking 

Holtzmann is a big very risk taker because is takes gut to go fight a bunch of ghost . She went against the mayor of the city to so she could save her universe. She could have died, or gotten really injured.  

I think everyone should be a little bit more like Holtzmann. She is a very kind person who cares about others but also loves to have fun. I don’t think that the girls could have done it without her.

Geo Bunny

Hello everyone,

In class we made things called Geo Bunnies. It’s were we creative shapes and we get the area and perimeter of most shapes. We also had to right a story about my bunny this i s what I wrote.

My bunny’s name is Fredrick . He’s a world famous pizza maker. His specialty is his pepperoni pizza. People will come far and wide just to eat Fredrick pepperoni pizza. He also poops chocolate that is the finest chocolate money could buy. As you can probably tell Fredrick’s a millionaire. He always wears his bow tie and top hat just to look professional. People love to see him around town so they can take picture with him. He’s kind and funny, he also loves to make people happy so on Fridays he makes his half off!

We learned a lot about geometry, like all the formulas for area and perimeter for different shapes like, Rectangle,Trapezoid,Parallelogram,Circle(only grade 7’s had to do that) and triangle.

Hey everyone, today I’m going to be writing a post using the alphebet ! Let start!

I love to eat apples with Nutella. My first name is Briana. I really like to eat cucumbers with my dinner. I have a dog and she’s very fluffy. I think elephants are cool and I want to ride one. I do not like most fish except for lemon pepper salmon. Gymnastics is my favorite sport. My favorite band is Home Free their a Capella group. I do not like ice skating because it hurts my feet too much. I do not like jam on toast comma not even strawberry. I have held a baby kangaroo. I can do leaps on the beam. My favorite is straight leap. My favorite month is December because I love Christmas and snow. I love watching Netflix. I want to travel to Ottawa when I’m older. I have three pets,  one dog and two guinea pigs. I like to do things quickly especially chores. I get rips from gymnastics when I uses the bars. I love spaghetti with tomato suace. I wont to travel all around the world. I wont to go to Utah and visit the grand Canyon . I only like some vegetables other I hate. I love to get wet like go swimming in the river or my pool. I have never had got an X-ray before and I hope I never do. I love to do Y-scales every time I’m on a beam. I think that Zebras are cool and I wont to meet a baby one because  there so cute.

Trapping Cupid!

We have to trap cupid so we can have love in the Comox Valley! Today we had a valentine’s day breakout and once we broke and there were Lego pieces inside the box and we had to try to build a trap so we could catch cupid! We each got Lego pieces and a partner.

Are plan was to build a little box with only one opening then a piece of candy in the middle (so cupid would go in) .Then a door would close once Cupid goes inside so he will be trapped in side. We also put wheels on it so it would be portable and a red flag that is the love flag so cupid would know its safe and full of love.

We have a security camera so we know when cupid flies into the trap then the door will close and cupid will be trapped in the box so we can have all the love!
